Today
our visit will be to one of the few and loveliest
harbor towns of ancient Lycia. Located near
Tekirova, Phaselis, according to the ancient sources
and archaeological material was first founded by the
Rhodian colonists in 690 BC. The city had three
lovely harbors connected by an axial street flanked
by statues on both sides. The remains of a Roman
aqueduct which is the first monument that catches
the eye of the visitors , two Roman baths, a
theater, two roman agoras and a monumental gate to
commemorate the visit of Emperor Hadrian are the
remains we will see during our visit to the site.
After
our visit to this lovely site we will drive to
Kemer, one of the popular resort towns with a marina
near Antalya. After our visit the
marina and the traditional nomads'
tents near marina, we will have a free time
until our departure from the town. |

will drive with the bus through a wonderful part of the
taurus mountains and some little villages and reach the
starting point of the camel karavan. At the little farm of
babylon town there are camels, donkeys, horses and used to
