Embarking the yacht in
Bodrum. Dinner and overnight in the Harbor in Bodrum.

Day
2
|
|
Departure after
breakfast. We will cruise about 3 hours to cross the
mouth of the Gokova Gulf and reach Knidos. This city has
two ancient harbors and we will drop anchor in the
bigger eastern harbor from where we can see the ruins.
The harbor is relatively unprotected from the wind so
captains often decide to overnight in Palamut Buku or
Mersincik.

Day
3

|
Leaving Knidos we will have stops for swimming
and lunch in Palamutbuku, Kargi or Inceburun and reach
the harbor of Datca towards evening. Dinner and
overnight here.

4
|
|
We leave Datca and give the first stop to swim
by Aktur, and then lunch by Disliceada. Late afternoon,
we arrive at Bencik, the bay that meanders into the land
at the narrowest point of the peninsula. Dinner and
overnight.

5
|
|
Leaving Bencik, we arrive with a short cruise the
region of Orhaniye and Selimiye villages. Here, there
are a lot of lovely bays we will choose one for our
overnight anchorage.

6
|
|
Passing around Cap
Karaburun, we arrive first in Bozukkale (ancient
Loryma). The castle on the hill at the entrance to the
port is in relatively good condition. After lunch we
cruise further to Serce Limani for dinner and overnight.
A Byzantine wreck from the 11th century was found here.
(Artifacts can be seen in the Bodrum Museum.)

7
|
|
Leaving Serce Limani we
will have stops by Gebekilise, Çiftlik and Turunç
before arriving Marmaris. Last overnight at Cennet
Island or Marmaris.

Day 8
|
|
Disembarking in
Marmaris.
|
|
If a minimum number of
participants is reached, the Greek islands of Rhodes and
Cos can be visited too. In this case, the route
Bodrum-> Marmaris will be realized as Bodrum > Cos
> Datça and from Datca till Marmaris as mentioned in
the itinerary. And the route Marmaris -> Bodrum will
be as Marmaris > Rhodes > Symi > Datça and
from Datca till Bodrum as mentioned in the itinerary.
